CYC Boston is pleased to announce that registration is open for the Wednesday Night Series and for the Robert Hartl Memorial Regatta. For the Wednesday Night Series, please consider buying the Season Pass - not only will it save you money, you'll be automatically registered for all 3 series.
The Wednesday series starts on May 24. The Skippers' Meeting will be on May 10 at 7pm at The Living Room in the North End. We will be helping register boats and signing up volunteers to assist the RC - please give back to the sport you love. Boats will be expected to sign up for one Wednesday during the season, and we are only expecting one crew member to assist on the RC boat. Your yacht club officers will be sure to give credit where credit is due. Additionally, we'll discuss the major changes to the Racing Rules of Sailing for 2017. While the meeting is not mandatory, please consider coming to meet your fellow sailors and enjoy some camaraderie.
The CYC Spring Regatta, the Robert Hartl Memorial Regatta, is scheduled for Saturday, June 10 at 11 am in Broad Sound. There will be no Skippers' Meeting ahead of the event, but there will be a get-together on the deck at Constitution Marina with burgers and dogs. BYOB! The Hartl Memorial is the first MBSA qualifier and is a bargain at $50 ($5 dollar discount for MBSA members!).
