The Red, White + Blue race is approximately 42 nm from Boston Harbor to the entrance buoy at Gloucester and back. There is an option for the race to be shortened to end at the entrance buoy at Gloucseter Harbor. It is a Qualifier for both the Overnight Series Championship and the Shorthanded Series Championship
